Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the heat treatment of metal workpieces, in particular transmission components, in which carburized metal workpieces are introduced into a means for heating workpieces and are heated therein, wherein the means for heating workpieces is in the form of a continuous furnace and wherein workpieces are introduced into the continuous furnace through a first opening apparatus and are discharged from the continuous furnace through a second opening apparatus which is spaced apart from the first opening apparatus, wherein workpieces, after being discharged, are introduced, for hardening, into a means for hardening.
