Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for forming a buffer layer (5) that is arranged between a transparent electrode (1) and a photocatalyst film (4) in a dye-sensitized solar cell that comprises the transparent electrode (1), a counter electrode (2), an electrolyte layer (3) that is arranged between the electrodes (1) and (2), and the photocatalyst film (4) that is arranged between the electrodes (1) and (2) on the transparent electrode (1) side. The method for forming a buffer layer is characterized in that a mixed solution, which is obtained by having an alcohol solution contain 0.03-5% by mass of a metal alkoxide, is supplied and spin-coated over the surface of the transparent electrode (1) that is rotated by a rotating table (52) and then the resulting coating is sintered by irradiation of laser light, thereby forming a buffer layer.
