Abstract:

Provided in the present invention are a method executed by a user equipment, and a user equipment. The method executed by a user equipment comprises: a UE receives a message from a network, the message containing an L2 U2U relay communication parameter configuration used for relay communication between the UE and the other UE by means of a relay UE, the UE being one of a source-side UE and a target-side UE, and the other UE being the other of the source-side UE and the target-side UE; and the UE transmits a SidelinkUEInformationNR message to the network when at least one of the following conditions occurs in an RRC_CONNECTED state: a source-side PC5 QoS profile being changed; a target side PC5 QoS profile being changed; SL-DRB being changed; requesting a specific PC5 relay RLC channel configuration for L2 U2U relay communication; and requesting a specific PC5 sidelink communication relay adaptation protocol configuration for the L2 U2U relay communication. Therefore, a source side PC5 QoS requirement and a target side PC5 QoS requirement can be met, and then the PC5 QoS requirements between a source side UE and a target side UE can be met, thus ensuring service experience and the service quality.
