Title:
METHOD FOR ENHANCING ELECTRON TRANSFER CAPABILITY OF HUMIC ACID TO PROMOTE ANAEROBIC FERMENTATION OF SLUDGE TO PRODUCE ACID
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/135150
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for enhancing the electron transfer capability of humic acid to promote anaerobic fermentation of sludge to produce acid, which belongs to the field of sludge treatment. In the present invention, the humic acid in a sludge hydrolysate is subjected to catalytic reduction by means of Pd-C/H 2, such that the electron transfer capability of the humic acid is enhanced, and the function of the humic acid as an electron intermediate or an anaerobic respiratory electron acceptor in a sludge anaerobic fermentation system is strengthened. The conversion rate of sludge organics is increased by improving the electron transfer between a sludge substrate and functional microorganisms. The modified humic acid can increase the yield of volatile fatty acids in the anaerobic fermentation process by 30 to 50%. According to the method, 100% of the Pd-C catalyst can be recycled at a low cost and with a high efficiency, which is a novel method and idea for increasing the yield of volatile fatty acids in the anaerobic fermentation process of the sludge, with sludge reduction and resource utilization integrated, and same has a high application value.
