Abstract:
A method for driving a solid-state imaging element drives, as low-sensitivity pixels, pixels covered with a red filter and pixels covered with a blue filter, which are present on one line every four lines of one of pixel lines extending diagonally upward to the right and pixel lines extending diagonally upward to the left, and pixels covered with a green filter and located most nearly adjacent to the pixels covered with the red filter or the pixels covered with the blue filter, and drives, as high-sensitivity pixels, the remaining pixels.
