Abstract:
The present embodiment provides a video coding method and device using multiple blocks-based intra template matching prediction. In the present embodiment, an image decoding device establishes a searching area for template matching, and then searches a searching area on the basis of a template of a current block to generate multiple candidate prediction blocks indexed according to the order of small template matching cost. An image decoding device obtains weights with respect to candidate prediction blocks and then weightedly couples the candidate prediction blocks by using weights to generate a prediction block of a current block.
