Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates than 4G communication systems such as LTE. A method for communicating in a wireless communication system by means of a first distributed unit (DU) according to an embodiment disclosed herein may involve: identifying whether connecting to at least one second DU is necessary on the basis of resource usage information about the first DU; acquiring inter-DU interface configuration information for connecting to the second DU; and establishing a connection for data transmission and reception to and from the second DU on the basis of the acquired inter-DU interface configuration information.
