Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to improve spinning stability of a microfiber aggregate in a microfiber aggregate manufacturing method in which electrostatic spinning is performed by applying a voltage to foam that has been continuously produced in a polymer solution. The present invention provides a microfiber aggregate manufacturing device which makes it possible to achieve such an improvement in spinning stability of a microfiber aggregate. A microfiber aggregate manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized by continuously supplying airflow to foam which has been continuously produced in a polymer solution. A microfiber aggregate manufacturing device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises one or more spinning units and a base material on which microfibers are deposited. The spinning units each comprise: one or more spinning production units which each accommodate a polymer solution; a foam production means which continuously produces foam in the polymer solution; a voltage application means which applies a voltage to the foam; and an airflow supply means which continuously supplies airflow to the foam. Microfibers produced from the surface of the foam are deposited on the base material.
