Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for controlling the contact rigidity of a finished surface. This method brings one finished surface and the other finished surface into contact with each other so that uneven striped patterns of one finished surface and the other finished surface can intersect each other. Then, a compression force is applied between the one finished surface and the other finished surface, and a reference deformation amount is set, which is a cusp deformation amount at the time of applying the compression force which is based on the assumption that the deformation amounts of all cusps in the uneven patterns are equal. Further, the cusp reference deformation amount at the time of applying said compression force is set larger than the amplitude of waviness defined by a difference in height between the finished surfaces having cusps.
