Abstract:
A wireless communication method is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, by a physical module of a wireless communication device, a Physical Protocol Data Unit, PPDU, comprising a protocol version, PV, field; and transmitting, by the physical module to a Medium Access Control, MAC, module of the wireless communication device, auxiliary information obtained based on the PPDU in response to a protocol version the PPDU compliant with indicated by a value of the PV field being not fully or partially supported by the wireless communication device to allow the MAC module to perform MAC proceeding according to the auxiliary information.
