Abstract:
Provided are a method for determining an uplink bandwidth and a communication apparatus, so as to save the amount of power consumed when a terminal device executes uplink transmission. The method comprises: receiving indication information from a network device, wherein the indication information is used to indicate whether to enable the configuration of a UE processing capability 2; and when the UE processing capability 2 is not enabled, determining a first uplink bandwidth according to the size of data to be transmitted, wherein the first uplink bandwidth is used to transmit the data to be transmitted.
