Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for detecting the thermal runaway of individual battery cells of a battery module, for which purpose at least one pressure value (P) is recorded in the battery module. The method according to the invention is characterized in that, for reducing the dynamics, the recorded pressure value (P) is filtered by at least one filter (1, 2, 3, 6, 7), after which at least one differential value (ΔP2, ΔP3) is formed from at least one first value (P1, P2) and at least one second value (P2, P3), wherein the first value (P1, P2) is a value that has been filtered to a greater extent with respect to reducing the dynamics than the second value (P2, P3) and the second value (P2, P3) is a filtered or unfiltered value with respect to its effect in reducing the dynamics, after which the first differential value (ΔP2, ΔP3) is compared with a preselected positive or negative limit value (pthpos, pthneg), wherein a warning message is generated in the event that it is above the positive limit value (pthpos) or below the negative limit value (pthneg).
