Abstract:
A method for cooling a stirring friction tool (110). The method is used for cooling a stirring needle (115) and/or a shaft shoulder (114) of the stirring friction tool (110), and comprises the following steps of introducing a cooling liquid into a flow inlet (113) of a cooling channel (111), wherein the cooling channel (111) is provided in the stirring friction tool (110), and the flow inlet (113) is provided on a side wall of the stirring friction tool (110); allowing the cooling liquid to flow downwards to the vicinity of the stirring needle (115) and/or the shaft shoulder (114); and allowing the cooling liquid to turn upwards and flow out of the stirring friction tool (110) through a flow outlet (112), wherein the flow outlet (112) is provided on the side wall of the stirring friction tool (110).
