Abstract:
The invention relates to cleaning surfaces of contaminants using particles of a solid cryogenic substance. A device comprises a casing, a rotating bladed array, a fixed bladed array secured on the casing, and a flat sieve array secured inside the casing. The rotating bladed array is disposed between the mounting plane of the upper fixed bladed array and the mounting plane of the flat sieve array. The rotating bladed array is configured to be capable of cutting pellets of a solid cryogenic substance in the plane of contact of the fixed bladed array and the rotating bladed array and/or in the plane of contact of the flat sieve array and the rotating bladed array. The flat sieve array is disposed at a distance from the rotating array that determines the maximum size of the cut fraction and is provided with a plurality of through-openings. The result is an increase in both the reliability of the device and the efficiency of the cleaning process.
