Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure is a method for calibrating and optimizing a quantum gate in an experiment. The method comprises: obtaining a quantum circuit which comprises a plurality of syndrome Clifford gates, and calculating the average fidelity of the syndrome Clifford gates; according to the average fidelity of the syndrome Clifford gates, determining the corresponding number of syndrome Clifford gates which enables an error magnification factor to be the maximum; generating a calibration circuit on the basis of the number of syndrome Clifford gates, alternating the acquisition of first fidelity by means of using initial CZ gates to test the calibration circuit with the acquisition of second fidelity by means of using optimized CZ gates to test the calibration circuit; and creating a target function according to the first fidelity and the second fidelity, and assessing an increase amount of the average fidelity of the syndrome Clifford gates, so as to realize CZ gate optimization.
