Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a method for providing a service by using UWB communication. The operation method of a first ultra- wideband (UWB) apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the operations of: receiving, from a second UWB apparatus, an advertisement message including UWB payment identifier information indicating a payment method supported for a payment service between the first UWB apparatus and the second UWB apparatus and location information (a retail identifier) via which the payment service is performed; performing UWB ranging on the basis of the UWB payment identifier information and the location information (the retail identifier) via which the payment service is performed; and performing a payment transaction on the basis of the result of the UWB ranging.
