Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte, in the method a starting material being heated and melted in a heating furnace which is provided with a sulfur supply unit, a partition unit that is provided within the heating furnace, and one or more other structures that are capable of bringing the inside and the outside of the heating furnace into communication with each other. With respect to this method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte, a melt is formed by heating and melting the starting material; the void space between the melt and the heating furnace is divided, by means of the partition unit, into a first space in which the sulfur supply unit is arranged and a second space in which the other structures are arranged; and a sulfur excessive atmosphere part is formed by introducing a component that contains elemental sulfur into the first space from the sulfur supply unit.
