Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for matching vein images. The method comprises: matching a first vein image with a target vein image, and obtaining a first vein feature matching result, the first vein image being a vein image of a subject to be verified that is obtained from a first angle, and the target vein image being a prestored vein image of a target subject; when the first vein feature matching result is set to indicate that the first vein image does not match the target vein image, matching a second vein image with the target vein image, and obtaining a second vein feature matching result, the second vein image being a vein image of the subject to be verified that is obtained from a second angle, and the second angle being obtained by rotating from the first angle; and according to the second vein feature matching result, determining whether the target subject includes the subject to be verified. The present disclosure solves the technical problem in which the probability of false recognition is high in the process of performing vein recognition on an image.
