Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a metasurface unit and a metasurface. The metasurface unit comprises a metal stratum; a liquid crystal layer, which is disposed on the metal stratum; and at least one metal patch, which is disposed on the side of the liquid crystal layer away from the metal stratum, the at least one metal patch being connected to a power supply by means of a bias line. The at least one metal patch is rectangular, and the extension directions of long edges of the at least one metal patch are the same. The metasurface unit provided by the present disclosure has a single polarization direction, thus cross polarization is prevented, the quality of reflection of the metasurface is ensured, and cross polarization resources are prevented from being occupied. The metasurface unit provided by the present disclosure has multi-frequency working capabilities. Meanwhile, the reflection and/or scattering amplitude and the reflection and/or scattering phase of the metasurface unit provided by the present disclosure are continuously adjustable, the reflection and/or scattering amplitude of the metasurface unit and the flexibility of reflection and/or scattering phase adjustment are improved, and the range of the working frequency band of the metasurface unit provided by the present disclosure is large.
