Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a metal-surface treatment agent capable of forming, on or over a surface of a metallic material, a coating film inhibited from cracking and having satisfactory corrosion resistance. This metal-surface treatment agent comprises a mixture of: at least one acid ingredient (A) selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid compounds, phosphonic acid compounds, organic sulfonic acids, polycarboxylic acids, hydroxylated monocarboxylic acids, and aminated monocarboxylic acids; a tungsten compound (B); and at least one metal compound (C) containing a metal selected from the group consisting of vanadium, cerium, molybdenum, magnesium, niobium, yttrium, chromium, tin, manganese, copper, and lanthanum. The content of the tungsten compound (B) in terms of solid mass of tungsten with respect to the mass of all the solid components of the metal-surface treatment agent is 18.0% or higher.
