Abstract:

The present invention suppresses damage to a metal bellows caused by changes in temperature and contact between adjacent intermediate slope sections, and furthermore reduces the length in the direction of extension/contraction when the metal bellows is at greatest contraction. The metal bellows (110) is for an accumulator (100), is the subject of the inflow of a pressurized fluid, and has a bellows shape such that peak fold sections (110a) and valley fold sections (110b) are repeatedly formed with intermediate slope sections (110c) therebetween, wherein adjacent intermediate slope sections (110c) with a peak fold section (110a) in common therebetween have first intermediate slope sections (110c1) each extending from the peak fold section (110a) in common and of which the mutual gap broadens towards the adjacent valley fold sections (110b), and second intermediate slope sections (110c2) respectively extending from the first intermediate slope sections (110c1) and of which the mutual gap broadens more greatly than in the first intermediate slope sections (110c1) towards the adjacent valley fold sections (110b), the first intermediate fold sections (110c1) and second intermediate fold sections (110c2) being connected with a cross sectional shape having a point of inflection (P) therebetween.
