Abstract:
The present invention provides a meta muffler which can increase the transmission loss of noise flowing inside a flow tube by maximizing the sound energy loss of noise entering a resonance chamber by using a tube connecting the flow tube to the resonance chamber arranged outside the flow tube, and can effectively attenuate the noise of a relatively low-frequency domain. To this end, the present invention is characterized in comprising: a flow tube in which a fluid flows; an outer container which is arranged on the outer side of the flow tube and forms a resonance chamber between the outer container and the flow tube; a tube which is arranged to surround the flow tube in the resonance chamber; a connecting flow path which allows the flow tube to be in communication with the tube; and a through hole which is formed through the surface of the tube and allows the tube to be in communication with the resonance chamber.
