Abstract:
A message processing method and a related device. A corresponding protection slice is configured for a primary slice for a service, and when a network device finds that the primary slice for the service fails, the network device can import the traffic of the service into the protection slice corresponding to the primary slice, so as to forward the traffic of the service by means of the protection slice. Thus, the protection slice is allocated in advance for the primary slice bearing the service, a resource on the protection slice being an isolated resource, and when the primary slice fails, the traffic of the service can be transmitted by means of the resource on the protection slice corresponding to the primary slice; since the protection slice has the isolated resource, the service quality of the service can be ensured when the primary slice fails.
