Abstract:
A medical connection structure comprising a male assembly 1 and a female connector 2. The male assembly 1 has a male connector 10 and a screw cylinder 20. A male lure section 11 of the male connector 10 and a female lure section 2a of the female connector 2 are joined by rotating the screw cylinder 20 in the tightening direction in a state in which a female screw 21a in the screw cylinder 20 and an engagement protrusion 2c on the female connector 2 are screwed together. A torque limiting mechanism 50 is arranged between the screw cylinder 20 and an operation cylinder 30 attached to the outer circumference of the screw cylinder 20. Engagement teeth 51 are formed along the entire inner circumference at one end of the operation cylinder 30. Slits 54 are formed in one end of the screw cylinder 20, said slits comprising only straight sections extending in the axial direction from said end. The areas adjacent to these slits 54 are provided as elastically deforming sections 52. Engagement hooks 53 that mesh with the engagement teeth 51 are formed in these elastically deforming sections 52.
