Abstract:
By enabling the cutting of meat and the sharpening of a cutter in a single device, the prevent invention makes it possible to reduce the number of devices, increase the efficiency of cutter sharpening work, and avoid risks. This meat cutting device comprises: a meat cutting mechanism 2 provided so that a circular blade-type cutter 7 for cutting meat is rotationally driven; a meat movement mechanism 3 that causes meat to move to the cutter; and a cutter sharpening mechanism 4 arranged so that a pair of circular grindstones 30 for sharpening the cutting edge of the cutter 7 are rotationally driven on both sides sandwiching the cutter 7, said pair of grindstones 30 being capable of moving so as to be brought into contact with and withdrawn from the cutter 7.
