Abstract:
The present application provides a material sorting system and method. The material sorting system comprises: a material distribution device used for conveying materials; an identification device used for identifying material information of the materials on the material distribution device; a sorting device used for sorting the materials according to the material information, the sorting device comprising at least one spray valve located on below a mineral movement trajectory and used for blowing the materials; a material receiving device comprising at least two chutes and used for accommodating at least two types of materials after sorting; and an auxiliary sorting device which is arranged above the at least two chutes and is used for conveying materials falling on the auxiliary sorting device into the chute on the side distant from the material distribution device among the corresponding at least two chutes.
