Provided is a material comprising nano-flakes of a two-dimensional substance, wherein: the nano-flakes have a plurality of pores; and the two-dimensional substance is represented by the formula MQaOb (where M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Groups 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, Q is at least one element (excluding O) selected from the group consisting of Groups 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, a is 0-2, and b is greater than 0 but not greater than 2).
