Title:
MARINE HOSE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/135040
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a marine hose capable of balancing high oil resistance and high flexibility in the inner-surface layer that constitutes the hose body thereof. This marine hose has a layered structure obtained by layering, in the radial direction, a first rubber layer (4A) and a second rubber layer (4B) that have different properties, so as to extend in the lengthwise direction of the hose body (3) across a range (Z) of at least 100mm to the front and rear of the insertion-side end (E) of the connection fitting (2) of the inner-surface layer (4) of the marine hose (1). The rubber in the first rubber layer (4A) exhibits a breaking elongation of 700-750%, inclusive, and exhibits an expansion coefficient of more than 30% and no more than 40% after 48 hours of immersion at 40°C in each of IRM 901, 902 and 903 specified in ISO 1817 when tested according to method 2 specified by ISO 6722. The rubber in the second rubber layer (4B) exhibits a breaking elongation of 550-600%, inclusive, and exhibits an expansion coefficient of no more than 30% after 48 hours of immersion at 40°C in each of IRM 901, 902 and 903.
