Abstract:
According to the invention, a magnetic suspension of a high-speed shaft comprises a device (1) for stabilizing the position of the shaft (2) in relation to a casing (3) in the axial direction, and devices (4, 5) for stabilizing the position of the shaft (2) in relation to the casing (3) in radial directions, at least one of which consists of at least one unit (23 or 24) comprising a magnetizing system mounted on the casing (3) coaxially to magnetic circuits (9, 10) mounted on the casing (3) with the possibility of interaction with the poles of the magnetizing system. A magnetic circuit (11) is mounted on the shaft (2) with a gap in relation to said magnetic circuits. The surfaces of the magnetic circuits (9, 10, 11) facing each other and located in planes perpendicular to the axis of the shaft (2) are provided with concentric protrusions (12, 13) arranged in pairs in front of each other and having the same width. Each magnetic circuit (9, 10) mounted on the casing (3) is provided with radial slots (20) dividing it into equal sections (19), the concentric protrusions (12, 13) being provided on the surface of each section (19).
