Abstract:
This magnetic gear comprises a plurality of first magnets that are arranged in a circumferential direction, a plurality of second magnets that are arranged in the circumferential direction, and a plurality of pole pieces that are arranged in the circumferential direction. The pole pieces each have a first facing surface that faces a first magnet, and a second facing surface that faces a second magnet. When the length of the first facing surface in the circumferential direction is defined as L1, and the length of the second facing surface in the circumferential direction is defined as L2, at least one of the plurality of pole pieces satisfies the relation L1>L2.
