Title:
MAGNETIC GEAR DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/137252
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic gear device that can, while maintaining mechanical strength, be configured at smaller dimensions in the rotary axis direction and cause magnetic coupling between a first and second rotor with a shorter magnetic circuit compared to the conventional technology of supporting a first and second input shaft each at two locations. The present invention is provided with: a cylindrical first rotor (4) wherein a plurality of magnetic pole pairs are uniformly disposed in the peripheral direction; and a cylindrical second rotor (5) wherein a plurality of magnetic pole pairs are uniformly disposed in the peripheral direction at a pitch differing from the aforementioned magnetic pole pairs. The first and second rotor (4, 5) are disposed along a central axis in a manner so as to have an approximately matching central axis, and furthermore, the magnetic gear device is provided with a plurality of magnetic bodies uniformly disposed in the peripheral direction in a manner so as to encircle the outer periphery of the first and second rotors (4, 5). The magnetic gear device is provided with; a rotary shaft (31) protruding from the second rotor (5) towards the first rotor (4); a bearing (71) that supports the rotary shaft (31); and a bearing holding section (21a) that holds the bearing (71) at the second rotor (5) side of the first rotor (4).
