Abstract:
Provided are magnetic components having excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and magnetic properties. These magnetic components are each provided with an alloy layer obtained by diffusing and permeating at least one element selected from a group comprising chromium, vanadium, titanium, aluminum and silicon on the surface of an iron-based component obtained by processing an iron-based material. The thickness of the alloy layer is 5 μm to 60 μm.
