Abstract:
Provided is a highly durable magnet separator that is unlikely to be affected by foreign matter in a liquid. The magnet separator comprises a separator main body, a magnet drum, and a drive unit. The magnet drum has: a first shaft that extends in the horizontal direction; a cylinder that is provided inside the separator main body, is rotatably supported by the first shaft, and has an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface; an inner cylinder that is fixed to the first shaft inside the inner cylinder; a magnet provided in the inner cylinder so as to face the inner circumferential surface; and a second shaft that is provided on the same line as the central axis of the first shaft and rotates in conjunction with the cylinder. The separator main body has a pair of side walls lined up in the horizontal direction. Outside the separator main body, the drive unit has an output unit provided on the same line as the central axis of the first shaft. The second shaft penetrates one of the pair of side walls towards the outside of the separator main body. The output unit is coupled to the second shaft in order to rotate the cylinder.
