Abstract:
Provided are a machining process for a disk hub assembly, and a disk hub assembly. An outer peripheral face of a disk hub (2) is provided with a mounting part that is in contact with a flange plate (1). The machining process comprises: a pre-machining procedure (A): machining a raw material of the disk hub (2); a grooving procedure (B): machining an inner peripheral face of the disk hub (2) so as to form an annular groove (22) in the inner peripheral face, wherein the annular groove (22) is coaxial with a center hole (21); and a spline machining procedure (C): machining an internal spline (25) on the inner peripheral face of the disk hub (2). The machining process further comprises: after the procedures, sequentially performing: a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer plating procedure: plating the disk hub (2) with a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer; a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer removing procedure (D): machining the outer peripheral face of the disk hub (2) so as to at least remove the corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer on the mounting part; and an assembling procedure (E): press fitting the flange plate (1) into the mounting part from which the corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer is removed. The depth of the annular groove (22) is not smaller than the height of the internal spline (25), and the annular groove (22) is aligned with the mounting part in an axial direction of the disk hub (2). The process reduces the difficulty of the process for plating a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer, and prevents the deformation of a disk hub from affecting the assembly of the disk hub and a shaft.
