Abstract:
A control device (20) in a machine tool (1) is configured to: in a case where a rotor (15, 16) is rotated in accordance with a processing program, check data on inertia of the rotor (15, 16); when data on inertia has been set, checks whether a rotational speed of the rotor (15, 16) designated by the processing program is equal to or lower than a limit rotational speed that is set depending on inertia; and limit, when the rotational speed exceeds the limit rotational speed, the rotational speed of the rotor (15, 16) designated by the processing program by using a permitted rotational speed that is a preset rotational speed equal to or lower than the limit rotational speed.
