Abstract:
The present invention provides a lubricant composition which contains (A) a base oil, (B) a phosphite ester that has at least one sulfur atom-containing group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, the group having at least one -(S)x- group (wherein x is an integer of 1 or more) between two adjacent carbon atoms in the structure of an alkyl group, (C) a thiadiazole compound and (D) a benzotriazole compound, wherein: the content of the component (C) is not less than 0.01% by mass but less than 0.60% by mass based on the total amount of the lubricant composition; and the content of the component (D) is not less than 0.02% by mass but less than 0.20% by mass based on the total amount of the lubricant composition.
