Abstract:
Provided is a lower traveling body (2) that can effectively suppress the ingress of dirt into pivotally supporting parts of rotary bodies. This lower traveling body (2) comprises: a pair of supports (11); and rotary bodies (20) that are rotatably supported by pivotally supporting parts (8) of the supports (11). The pivotally supporting parts (8) each include a spindle (30), a gap formation portion (42), and an oil seal (80). A gap (90) is formed between the gap formation part (42) and the corresponding rotary body (20). The gap (90) includes a dirt ingress suppression part 90a. The dirt ingress suppression part (90a) includes: a gap entrance portion (91) having an outer perimeter that is extended by a gap outer perimeter extension surface (24a); and a gap inner deep portion (92) that has a labyrinth shape. An inner end of the gap entrance portion (91) constitutes a narrow part (93) which provides a minimum gap dimension for the gap entrance portion (91).
