Title:
LONGITUDINALLY INTERLOCKING VEHICLE BRAKE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/045553
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This longitudinally interlocking vehicle brake device is provided with a pedal (41) operated by an passenger's foot, and an equalizer which is linked to the pedal (41) and distributes the brake force operating on the pedal (41) to a rear wheel brake (16) and a front wheel brake (15). The rear wheel brake (16) is provided with brake shoes (45, 46) which apply a braking force to a brake drum (43) which rotates together with a wheel (16), an anchor pin (47) which rotatably supports one end of the brake shoes (45, 46), and a cam shaft (65) which has a cam (60) which opens the other end of the brake shoes (45, 46). The cam (60) has a chamfered portion (73, 74) on the lateral surface facing away from the one direction such that even if said cam rotates in the other direction, the cam shaft (34) reduces the amount of opening of the brake shoe (45, 46).
