Abstract:

[Problem] To enable easy loosening of a bolt or nut during maintenance, without the bolt or nut becoming loose while in a fastened state. [Solution] A lock washer 1 provided between a nut 4 and a to-be-attached object is equipped with two washer members 11 having the same shape. Each washer member 11 has: a first face 11a which has a larger exterior shape than the nut 4, and on which recesses and projections are formed in a radial configuration such that there is little resistance when the nut 4 turns in the fastening direction and large friction resistance when the nut 4 turns toward the loosening side; a second face 11b on which one or multiple inclined faces 11ba are formed along the circumferential direction such that the height thereof gradually becomes lower in the fastening direction of the nut 4; and a projecting portion 11c which is provided to the outer circumferential portion, and which is used for, when loosening the nut 4, rotating the two washer members 11 in a closely overlapping state. The two washer members 11 are used in a closely overlapping state such that the second faces 11b mesh with each other, and in said overlapping state, the positions of the projecting portions 11c of the two washer members 11 are the same.
