Abstract:
The inventive lock for a tank hatch is used for transporting radioactive and toxic agents and comprises a top (1) and a low (2) flanges fixedly connected to an axis (3), a seal (18), a spring-vacuum device and a floating disc (10). A spring retaining ring (14) insertable into the annular groove of the hatch is arranged on the external belt of said floating disc (10) and is provided with an internal conical surface contacting with the conical surface of the floating disc (10) and an end surface contacting with the seal which is placed in the annular groove between the top flange (1) and the floating disc (10). A disc spring (22) and a sealing diaphragm (23) are connected to the rim of the lower flange (2) and a vacuum cavity (27) is disposed between said sealing diaphragm (23) and the lower flange (2). A through hole (28) whose diameter is less than the diameter of a contact spring (8) is embodied along the vertical symmetry axis of the top flange (1). A detachable vacuum suction (24) and a permanent magnet (25) are mounted on the central section of the top flange (1). The inventive device makes it possible to improve the hermetic tightness of the tank and to exclude unauthorised access to the tank content.
