Abstract:
Provided is a loading machine comprising: a vehicle body; a work device that is mounted to the vehicle body; a communication device that communicates with a transport vehicle directly or via a control device; and a controller that determines whether or not loading of a load into the transport vehicle has been completed and outputs a departure instruction to the transport vehicle via the communication device. The controller: estimates a required departure preparation period from starting preparation to depart until the transport vehicle can depart on the basis of model data including information indicating characteristics of the transport behavior of the transport vehicle; estimates a remaining loading period, from the present time, required to complete the loading of the load into the transport vehicle on the basis of operation state data regarding the loading machine; calculates the time differential between the remaining loading period and the required departure preparation period; and outputs a departure preparation instruction to the transport vehicle via the communication device at a stage when the time differential becomes less than a pre-set setting value. The transport vehicle can thus depart quickly after loading work has been completed, improving productivity at a work site.
