Abstract:

A lithium-ion secondary battery is provided with an electrode unit and a liquid electrolyte. A negative electrode comprises a negative electrode current collector, and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the surface of the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode is doped with lithium. The aperture ratio of the negative electrode current collector is 0-0.1%. A discharge capacity ratio X defined in formula (1) is greater than 0 and equal to or less than 0.9. Formula (1): X = C1/C2 C1 in formula (1) is the cell discharge capacity when a cell is charged/discharged at a voltage from 2.0 V to 4.3 V. C2 in formula (1) is the negative electrode discharge capacity when the negative electrode is charged/discharged from 0 V vs. Li/Li+ to 3 V vs. Li/Li+.
