Abstract:
This linking mechanism is provided with a slider having a linking portion that links to an end portion of a cable, wherein: the linking portion includes a cable end accommodating portion which accommodates a cable end, and a disengagement suppressing portion which suppresses disengagement of the cable; and the disengagement suppressing portion includes an arrangement space in which the cable that extends from the cable end when the cable has been linked to the slider is arranged, an inlet which opens with a gap at least equal to the wire diameter of the cable in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the cable, and through which the cable can pass when moved in the direction perpendicular to the axis, a passage portion which communicates with the arrangement space and the inlet, and through which the cable can move via the inlet to the arrangement space, and a first restricting portion which blocks the direction of movement of the cable when the cable, arranged in the arrangement space, is moved in a direction parallel to the direction in which the passage portion extends. Employing this linking mechanism makes it easy to assemble the cable in the slider, which is accommodated slidably in a joint case, and makes it possible to prevent the cable falling out from the slider.
