Abstract:
Provided is a link actuating device which is compact and has a wide range of movement of a movable part, high posture adjustment accuracy, and high rigidity. An output member (15) is linked to an input member (14) via three or more sets of link mechanisms (11) so as to be able to change the posture thereof. The link mechanism (11) is configured from input-side and output-side end link members (11a, 11c) and a middle link member (11b). In the link mechanism (11), a geometric model formed by representing the respective link members (11a, 11b, 11c) by straight lines has a shape in which an input-side part and an output-side part are symmetric with respect to the middle part of the middle link member (11b). An immobilization mechanism (4) capable of immobilizing the output member (15) in an arbitrarily defined posture with respect to the input member (14) is provided in all of the three or more sets of link mechanisms (11). Further, a structure (5) which links the input member (14) and the output member (15) to each other by being brought into contact with contact receiving parts formed respectively in the input member (14) and the output member (15).
