Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a lined butterfly valve which has excellent chemical resistance and heat resistance, and with which, even if provided with a large aperture, penetration and permeation of liquid is prevented by ensuring that there is an adequately thick lining layer on a metal core, without providing the metal core with high precision, and a method for manufacturing the same. A valve body 2 in which a metal core 20 is covered with a lining layer 22 is provided with freedom to rotate inside a body 3 by means of a stem 5. The lining layer 22 is provided with front and rear side lining portions 32 provided respectively on the front and rear sides of the metal core, and an outer circumferential lining portion 33 provided on the outer circumferential side of the metal core, wherein: the front and rear side lining portions are provided respectively on the front and rear sides of the metal core, which is assumed not to be warped, in such a way as to have, at least in a position at the outer circumferential edge of the metal core, a thickness T1 obtained by adding a prescribed lining thickness to a thickness that is the same as the maximum warping width assumed on the valve blade side of the metal core; and the thickness of the outer circumferential lining portion, from the outer circumferential edge of the metal core to the distal end seal surface at the outer circumferential edge of the valve body is a thickness T2 obtained by adding the prescribed lining thickness to a prescribed crushed thickness.
