Abstract:
A linear motion guide device that can be used suitably for applications in high-temperature and vacuum environments in which a resin end cap cannot be used, wherein the end cap is manufactured by injection molding with a metal powder as the raw material, and the adhesion of metal powders at the thin and sharp parts such as the scooping part of the end cap is improved, thus suppressing abrasion and deformation. This end cap (7) is formed by injection molding (Metal Injection Molding (MIM): metal powder injection molding) with a metal powder of not more than 20 μm as the raw material, and hot isostatic pressing (HIP: hot isostatic compression molding) and thermal processing are applied to the scooping part (9).
