Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a linear guide device capable of automatically optimizing contact between guide surfaces of a guide rail and rollers of a traveling body. [Solution] A guide rail 1 has a pair of guide portions 3 and an open portion 4, and each guide portion 4 has a first guide surface 3a and a second guide surface 3b. The traveling body 5 has a first holder 10 and a second holder 30. The first holder 10 rotatably supports a plurality of first rollers 30 that roll along the first guide surfaces 3a of the pair of guide portions 3, and the second holder 30 rotatably supports a plurality of second rollers 40 that roll along the second guide surfaces 3b of the pair of guide portions 3. The linear guide device is additionally provided with a single coupling shaft member 8 and friction imparting means P. The first holder 10 and the second holder 30 are coupled to one another by means of the coupling shaft member 8 in such a way as to be capable of relative rotation and capable of relative displacement in a left-right direction. The friction imparting means P restricts the relative rotation and the relative displacement in the left-right direction.
