Abstract:
A lignocellulose biomass treatment device (100) is provided with: at least one screw (110) on the outer periphery of which are formed helical screw grooves (110a, 110b); a barrel (120) on the inner periphery of which is formed a helical barrel groove (120a), the barrel encircling the section of the screw (110) where the screw grooves (110a, 110b) are formed; and a charging part (130) for charging a lignocellulose biomass into a gap (135) between the screw (110) and the barrel (120). Through rotation of the screw (110), the lignocellulose biomass is morcellated while pressure is applied in the gap (135).
