Abstract:
A lightweight harmonic gearing, comprising a wave generator (10) having an elliptical wave inner cam (11), a flex spline (20) and a circular spline (30), wherein at least one of the elliptical wave inner cam (11) and the circular spline (30) is prepared from an aluminum matrix composite, and the specific stiffness of the aluminum matrix composite is not less than 30 GPa/g/cm3. The specific stiffness of the material used is higher than that of an existing metal, such that the harmonic gearing can maintain high-precision rotary transmission operation.
