Abstract:
Disclosed are a lightning protection and/or static electricity prevention apparatus and method, wherein same use a lightning protection constant voltage apparatus to prevent lightning and/or to prevent static electricity from affecting same. The lightning protection constant voltage apparatus comprises a metallic electrode I, a metallic electrode II and an electrolyte, wherein the metallic electrode I and the metallic electrode II are respectively in contact with the electrolyte, and the metallic electrode I is not in contact with the metallic electrode II; the metallic electrode I and the metallic electrode II are prepared by means of metallic materials with the same metallic activity; and an oxidation reaction occurs at a contact surface between the electrolyte and the metallic electrode I and the metallic electrode II, thus producing two electrode electric fields with the same polarity and electric potential. The lightning protection and/or static electricity prevention method of the present invention uses a lightning protection and/or static electricity prevention apparatus to convert electric energy into chemical energy and thermal energy, so as to implement ground electric potential leakage and electric energy consumption, thereby preventing the electric energy from spreading in other ways and protecting an object in a protection zone.
